Fällkniven F1 (Lam. VG7 steel)

The Fällkniven F1 is a compact yet highly robust survival knife developed to function in demanding environments. Since 1995, this model has been the official survival knife of the Air Force and is also used by other parts of the Swedish Armed Forces. The knife is designed with a focus on strength, safety, and reliability, and is engineered to perform in everything from subarctic climates to more challenging outdoor conditions.

The blade is made of laminated VG7 steel (VGwolf), a corrosion-resistant special steel with a high tungsten content that provides excellent edge retention and high strength. The convex grind makes the edge both durable and efficient for cutting tasks, while ensuring the knife maintains good durability even under more demanding use.

The handle is made of Thermorun, a grip-friendly and durable material that provides a secure grip even when hands are wet or cold. The full-length broad tang provides high stability and makes the knife a reliable tool for both outdoor activities and survival situations.

The F1 comes with a choice of Zytel or leather sheath. The Zytel sheath features a practical two-way locking mechanism that keeps the knife securely in place and makes it easy to use with one hand, while the leather sheath is made of strong black leather with double interlinings for extra durability.
