                                                    5. Why do we process your Personal Data? 

                                                    Friluftsvaror processes your Personal Data for various purposes. In summary, the Processing is carried out for the purpose of: 

                                                    • Providing goods and services and otherwise fulfilling the agreement entered into with you in connection with an order; 
                                                    • Enabling general customer care (quality work, statistics, market and customer analysis, and business development) and customer service, e.g., when you contact our customer service via email and phone; 
                                                    • Providing information about events, sending newsletters, and sending general and tailored offers by post and email; 
                                                    • Providing information to you and otherwise communicating with you via social platforms; 
                                                    • Being able to manage and implement participation in any competitions and events; 
                                                    • Preventing fraud and performing risk management; and 
                                                    • Complying with applicable legislation. 

                                                        We only collect Personal Data that is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. What Personal Data we collect about you depends on which of our goods or services you have requested, ordered, or purchased, or how you have come into contact with us.

                                                        Friluftsvaror uses Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn, and TikTok as channels to connect with customers and to market and inform about our products and services. In connection with this, Friluftsvaror is the data controller for publications and information that contain Personal Data and are made on social platforms by you as a user in the form of, for example, comments, pictures, and video clips. Friluftsvaror does not tolerate offensive content being published on our Social Media. Friluftsvaror asks our users to report offensive content to us so that we can ensure such content is not present. Friluftsvaror may therefore also remove content on social platforms if we deem it necessary.

                                                        8. Children's Personal Data

                                                        Friluftsvaror does not intentionally collect Personal Data from children under 16 years of age unless this Processing has been preceded by the guardian's approval. If we discover that children under 16 years of age have provided us with Personal Data without the guardian's approval, we will immediately delete it. If you become aware that a child has provided their Personal Data to us without parental consent, please contact us so that we can take the necessary measures.

                                                        9. How long is your Personal Data stored?

                                                        Your Personal Data will only be stored for as long as there is a need to store it to fulfill the purposes for which the Personal Data was collected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

                                                        Existing customers' Personal Data is stored for marketing purposes only for 36 months after the last purchase. If you do not wish for us to store Personal Data for marketing purposes during this time, you are welcome to (i) contact us and object to this or (ii) follow the link in the mailings.

                                                        If you have given your consent to receive offers from us, we will Process your Personal Data for that purpose until you unsubscribe or inform us that you no longer consent to receiving offers.                                                         Personal Data provided to us in conversations with customer service, etc., and that does not lead to a purchase, will be deleted no later than 36 months after your matter with us has been closed.

                                                        Personal Data necessary to fulfill any warranty commitments and complaint cases will be stored for as long as it is required for us to fulfill our warranty commitment.

                                                        To enable Friluftsvaror to fulfill the legal obligations that follow from law or to be able to protect our legal interests (if a legal process is ongoing), we may store the Personal Data for a longer period. However, Personal Data is never stored longer than is necessary or legally required for the respective purpose.

                                                        Right of access

                                                        You have the right to request information, free of charge, about the Processing we carry out regarding your Personal Data. You also have the right to receive a copy of the Personal Data we Process about you. This request must be submitted to us in writing, clarifying what information you wish to access. We will respond to your request without undue delay. If we cannot fulfill your wishes regarding access to the data your request concerns, we will provide a justification for this.                                                         Right to rectification

                                                        The primary responsibility for ensuring that the Personal Data we Process is accurate rests with Friluftsvaror as the data controller. If you inform us that the Personal Data you provided is no longer accurate, we will, if that is the case, rectify it as soon as possible.

                                                        Right to erasure

                                                        You have the right to request that Friluftsvaror, without undue delay, erases your Personal Data. Personal Data shall be erased in the following cases:

                                                        (i) if the Personal Data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected;

                                                        (ii) if you have withdrawn your consent and the Processing is based solely on consent as a legal basis;

                                                        (iii) if Processing is carried out for direct marketing and you object to your Personal Data being processed for this purpose;

                                                        You have the right, in cases where we Process your Personal Data with your consent or to fulfill a contractual obligation with you, to demand that we provide all Personal Data we hold about you and that is Processed in an automated manner, in a machine-readable format, which can be, for example, an Excel file or a CSV file. If technically possible, you further have the right to request that we transfer your Personal Data to another data controller.

                                                        Right to object

                                                        You have the right to object to our Processing of your Personal Data if the Processing is based on our legitimate business interest and a balancing of interests. In these cases, Friluftsvaror will ask you to specify which Processing you object to. If you object to any Processing, we will only continue with the Processing if there are legitimate reasons for the Processing that outweigh your interests.

                                                        Friluftsvaror will analyze your purchase history, your purchasing behavior, and your behavior on Friluftsvaror.se in order to gain more knowledge about you as a customer and our customers in general, and to be able to improve our offers (this constitutes so-called "Profiling"). For the same purpose, we may also look at any personal wishes or preferences you have provided to us, e.g., information that you are interested in a special category of goods. You do this by contacting customer service at kundtjanst@friluftsvaror.se. Once we have received your message, we will stop Processing your Personal Data for Profiling.

                                                        14. To whom do we transfer your Personal Data?

                                                        To provide some of our services and products, we engage selected third parties. This means that we share some of the Personal Data we have collected about you with them, for example, with cooperation partners such as providers of CRM systems and case management, card and communication services, or who provide printing and distribution. In connection with such sharing or transfer of your Personal Data, Friluftsvaror takes technical and organizational measures to ensure that your Personal Data is handled in a secure and safe manner.                                                         Our services may in some cases be subject to third-party terms and conditions. Friluftsvaror is not responsible for such third parties' use of your Personal Data as they are solely responsible for the Processing of your Personal Data. Therefore, it is important that you, as a customer, consider and read through the terms and conditions from third parties, including in connection with the use of our payment service on Friluftsvaror.se and the service for choosing the delivery of the goods you ordered from us, where payment service providers and shipping companies Process your Personal Data in accordance with their own terms and conditions.                                                         We use Klarna as our payment partner at checkout. This means that we may need to transfer parts of your personal data to Klarna's user interface so that the payment can be handled and completed.
