Sverre Knitted Hat

Ivanhoe's classic wool hat, now with updated knitting!

The Sverre hat, to the eye, looks unchanged, but we've chosen to update the knit so the hat is more comfortable to wear. Knitted pattern on the crown, but the ribbed brim is solid colored. Match the hat with the solid-colored Vide Scarf, and for a complete look, Sverre Half Zip and Sverre Crewneck are also available. The hat has a small jacron logo tag attached around the brim. One size.

Care instructions
The recipe for success in caring for a wool garment and keeping it looking good is to air, air, and re-air. Remove dirt and stains immediately as they occur, and then it's best to hang the sweater outdoors on a hanger. It's even better if the weather is a bit damp. Wool repels dirt and breaks down bacteria, making it self-cleaning and odor-free. If you notice that the garment hasn't become clean after thorough airing, it might be time to wash it; in that case, carefully follow the care instructions found in the side seam.

If you hand wash wool, do not let wool garments soak, as this damages the wool fibers. Rinse in clean water. Do not wring. Instead, gently press out the water. Hang or lay wool garments to dry on a drying rack.
