The future of freeride: The AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE 26 S is an avalanche backpack with an airbag that has been specifically developed for downhill skiing. From powder days near the slopes to multi-day freeride adventures – with just one BASE, you can attach different sizes of AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE S and TOUR S Zip attachments, each adapted for its specific use. The Zip system is designed so that the base and the different packs together form a unified whole.

The BASE of the AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE 26 S consists of a back panel and an airbag system and features a specially designed, shortened back system for shorter individuals. Thanks to the CLASP BACK SYSTEM – with soft back pads, a wide and flexible hip belt, and soft shoulder straps – the versatile and lightweight FREERIDE base sits extremely close to the back while allowing full freedom of movement. It is compatible with the CLASP SPINE PROTECTOR (sold separately).

All the storage solution's functions are precisely tailored for freeriding: attachments for skis, snowboards, and ice axes, a helmet holder, and quick access to the main compartment leave nothing to be desired. Safety equipment can be stored in a separate safety compartment.

LiTRIC, the electronic airbag system, is light, reliable, and easy to use. The system can be fully charged in about 25 minutes via USB-C, and deployment can be tested an unlimited number of times at no extra cost. The absence of a cartridge means more space, no weighing, no cartridge waste, and no travel restrictions. The design is thought out to the smallest detail: supercapacitors are used instead of cartridges, and the airbag is ultralight – making the system one of the lightest on the market. The system is also very easy to use. From charging and LED display to the release handle, packing the airbag, and the leg loop – the LiTRIC AVABAG is completely intuitive. One charge allows at least two deployments. When the system is on, the operating time is approximately 60 hours, making multi-day tours possible without recharging. The operating temperature ranges from –30 °C to +45 °C.

All products in the AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE series are climate-neutral and PFC-free.
