Aivak (Ripstop nylon) tent 1p

The Fjällmark Aivak 1P is a lightweight, rainproof, and stable bivouac tent for the weight-conscious hiker. The fabric resists wear and heavy rain and can be tensioned to stay in place in high winds. The shape is aerodynamic, and the tent is designed with a low profile that allows wind to flow over the fabric. The arch over the head end gives you space and reduces the risk of condensation from exhaled air. The 7071-Aluminum poles give the tent stability and long durability at a low weight. The tent is waterproof with a water column of 4000 mm in the outer tent and 5000 mm in the floor. This means guaranteed waterproofing even in heavy downpours. The fabric is woven from light but durable 40D Ripstop-Nylon, which is a light, incredibly strong, and not least dimensionally stable material. Nylon fabrics are used in top-class tents. You can open the tent at both the head end and the side, which gives you good opportunities to manage your gear and ventilate the tent in warmer weather.

Tip: In warmer weather, it's excellent to use only the inner tent as a light, cool, and mosquito-proof stargazing tent.
