Hilleberg Akto

The Hilleberg Akto is a lightweight, spacious and very well-proven solo tent for year-round use. It is developed for those who travel alone and want a reliable tent with low weight, good weather protection, and enough space for both sleeping and packing. Despite being only slightly heavier than many simpler bivouac solutions, the Akto provides a complete four-season tent with an inner tent, outer tent, and vestibule. This makes the model a strong choice for long-distance hiking, cycling tours, paddling, climbing, and other trips where low packed weight and reliable function are crucial. Akto means "alone" in Sami.

The outer tent's walls extend to the ground for better protection against wind and precipitation, while the mosquito net sections can be covered with adjustable fabric panels when you want to block out cold, drafts, or snow.
• The tunnel construction provides very efficient use of weight and packed volume. The shape creates ample sleeping space for one person and makes the tent particularly suitable for mobile tours where you often set up and pack up camp.
• The vestibule provides practical storage space for a backpack, shoes, cooking equipment, and other gear that you want protected but don't need to bring into the inner tent. The entrance's location also makes it easy to access the equipment.
• Inner and outer tents are connected but can be separated if needed. This allows the tent to be pitched quickly in one go, which is particularly valuable in rain or harsh weather when you want to keep the inner tent dry.
• Easy setup with a single pole and a continuous one-way pole sleeve. The tent can be pitched with few tent pegs in the guy lines at the head and foot ends, but it is recommended to also anchor the corners for the best floor area, ventilation, and stability.
