The Combat NATO 62 Waxless is a lightweight, robust, and versatile touring ski developed for demanding use in varied terrain. The model is designed to meet military requirements for durability, stability, and accessibility but is equally suitable for long winter tours, hunting, and expeditions.

The ski combines low weight with high strength thanks to a reinforced poplar core and a binding zone reinforced with Titanal. The balanced width, along with a 22 mm sidecut, provides good control in technical terrain while the ski offers good float in deeper snow.

Rocker and a tapered ski tip improve float in soft snow and make the ski easier to maneuver in varied terrain. The waxless base provides reliable grip on flat and moderately hilly terrain without the need for kick wax. For steeper ascents, an X-Skin can be easily mounted via the Åsnes Skinlock system.

The Combat NATO 62 Waxless is designed to withstand tough conditions and rapid movements in mountain environments, making it a reliable companion for demanding winter tours.
