Description

High-alpine map Hemavan 1:25,000

The High-alpine map Hemavan 1:25,000 is a very detailed map from Calazo covering the area around Hemavan and the Sytertopparna peaks. The map is designed for those who go on ski tours, glacier treks, or move off marked trails and need extra clear information about the terrain. The terrain information is based on airborne laser scanning, which means that slopes, larger rocks, forests, and watercourses are rendered with high precision. The current extent of the glaciers has been developed in collaboration with the Department of Physical Geography at Stockholm University, making the map particularly useful for tours at higher altitudes in the Hemavan area.
