The Igniter 2Vi® Mips Helmet is a versatile ski and snowboard helmet designed for all-mountain and freeride. The helmet combines low weight, high safety, and good ventilation to provide comfort and protection during long days in the ski area. The robust hard-shell construction along with advanced technology makes it a reliable choice for riders who want both performance and safety in one product.
The helmet is built around Sweet Protection's 2Vi® Helmet Technology, an advanced technology platform developed to improve both safety and comfort. The variably elastic outer shell technology provides high strength and better energy absorption without increasing weight or volume. Inside the helmet, there is a shock-absorbing liner with complex geometry and multiple densities that effectively dissipates force in the event of an impact.
The integrated Mips® system is designed to reduce rotational forces that can be transferred to the head during a fall or collision. The internal rib construction works with the Mips system to further reduce harmful forces.
The Igniter 2Vi® Mips features adjustable ventilation and ten large ventilation openings that provide efficient air circulation during intense rides. The Occigrip Fit System allows for quick fine-tuning of the fit, even with gloves. The helmet is also designed for optimal compatibility with Sweet Protection ski goggles.
