The Sea to Summit Pocket Trowel is a lightweight and compact field shovel for backpacking, paddling, and outdoor activities where good hygiene and Leave No Trace principles are important. It is made from highly durable fiberglass-reinforced Nylon 66 and is strong enough for normal touring use in harder soil, gravelly ground, and lighter roots. The retractable handle slides into the blade when packed, making the shovel easy to carry without taking up unnecessary space. The handle is hollow and can be used to store small items such as toilet paper, a lighter, or hand sanitizer.
