With an oiled, spool-shaped handle made from FSC® certified Scandinavian birch wood, a double finger guard, and a 2.0 mm thick, blunt blade of recycled Swedish stainless steel, the knife is always ready.

Thanks to a smaller handle geometry, the knife rests comfortably in a small hand. The knife's full tang runs through the entire handle, providing both strength and stability in every cut. The natural-coloured sheath, made of vegetable-tanned leather, has a belt loop that can be easily attached to a belt, and for safety, it is equipped with a simple and classic button lock that secures the knife in the sheath. The embossed Dalarna crest on the sheath is a well-preserved detail from bygone times. The knife sheath should always be mounted on the knife when not in use to carefully protect both the user and the sharp edge. The edge can become dull if it comes into contact with surfaces other than wood. Children should always handle knives in the company of an adult. The characteristic Scout knives, ever since they were first introduced in the 1930s, have been an obvious entry-level knife for children and an opener to a richer outdoor life.
