Sea Level Boot Rubber Boot

The Sea Level Boot is Tretorn’s most iconic rubber boot — produced with a smaller footprint. The materials used to manufacture the Sea Level Boot have been carefully selected to minimise environmental impact. Both the outsole and the upper are made from FSC-certified natural rubber, and the lining is made from recycled polyester. Inside, the insole is made from BLOOM, a material derived from the unique algal biomass extracted from algal blooms in the oceans. BLOOM is a new innovation that makes it possible to recycle harmful algal blooms from our oceans to, in turn, create a sustainable material. When harvested and subjected to heat and pressure, it undergoes a process that allows it to be used as a material in the Sea Level Boot. By 2050, the sea level could rise by 26 cm due to the climate crisis. A fact that is difficult to grasp. That's why the Sea Level Boot has a measuring stick on the back that illustrates just this. As a reminder of the changes that need to happen – and the consequences if they don't.
