The Ortovox Shovel Pro Rescue is an extremely efficient and robust avalanche shovel, designed for professional use and serious skiers who demand high functionality, durability, and work capacity. With Ortovox's largest shovel blade and an impressive effective working length, this is a tool built to move a lot of snow – quickly.

The ergonomic D-grip sits firmly in the hand and provides maximum power transfer with every stroke. The oval telescopic shaft with a rubberised, non-slip surface is both very stiff and intuitive to use, even with gloves. The hardened aluminium shovel blade has high lateral stability and sharp edges, making the Shovel Pro Rescue equally effective for rescue work as for snow profiles, rutschblock tests, and igloo building.

The clever 90° function makes snow clearing significantly more efficient in steep or cramped conditions and can save both time and energy in an emergency.
