The La Sportiva Ultra Raptor II Mid GTX is a technical, mid-height hiking shoe for fast-paced hikes, fast hiking, and light packing in varied terrain. The model is based on the well-known Ultra Raptor platform but features a higher shaft that provides extra ankle protection without sacrificing the lightweight and agile feel. The GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane makes the shoe waterproof and breathable, making it suitable for wet conditions and long days on the move. The durable and breathable mesh upper works in many types of weather, while the stabilizing heel construction provides good control on traverses and uneven side slopes. With Comfort Collar, integrated lacing system, FriXion™ White sole, and Trail Bite Heel, the Ultra Raptor II Mid GTX is built for many hours on trails, in mountain terrain, and on technical surfaces.
